The Bachelor..A Guilty Pleasure or Punishment

So The Bachelor season 16 started last week and I have to admit, I AM ADDICTED!!!  I only started watching this series last summer when annoying Ashley was the Bachlorette.  This show is by far one of the worst trainwrecks I have ever seen.  Ultimately Ashley let Ben get down on one knee and propose to her, even allowing him to stay kneeling while she pondered his proposal.  She then like a stammering moron told him she wasn't going to accept his proposal.  Ben as well as myself was quite outraged by her annoying pretend speech and I loved how Ben basically told her off.  In the end I decided she was a whiny, annoying stupid girl whom was not even a close match for Ben.

Why I am watching Bachelor 16, simple because of Ben and also because I can admit it makes me feel better to watch these girls make such fools of themselves on television.  Nothing like watching a tv show that you have to cover your eyes because you can't bare to actually witness the utter humiliation that these girls bring upon themselves.

Like giddy teenagers my sister-in -law and I got ourselves situated on the couch for the premiere.  (The only good thing about Mondays mind you). As we watched them replay over and over Ben's failed proposal to Ashley it re-ignited my hatred for her and my undying love for this "show".  We got to meet Ben's 25 potential ex-fiance's, listen to the obnoxious music in the background and in my favorite part of the show JENNA, the reason it sometimes is humiliating to be a female.  I also already determined that I dislike model Courtney (not because she is pretty), because she is a smirky bitch.  Some may say one bitch hates another bitch, but I like to believe that I'm a light-hearted friendly bitch.

At the end of the premiere we watched the scenes for the upcoming season and I felt a new passion for life, something to make me feel like every Monday is Christmas morning.

Which brought us to last night, episode 2.  Again like schoolgirls we nestled in our positions on the couch and began the next chapter.  I like Kacie, cute girl, cute date.  Blakely is determined kudos to her but she reminds me of a man, The group date, kids involved - pass, I don't watch horrendous reality tv to see kids, I see them everyday in my own house - go away!  Courtney again, so stuck up and full of herself, actual hate. And I have this sinking gut feeling Ben will choose her and the respect I thought I had for him will be flushed down the toilet like the tampon Jenna wanted to share with Monica.

Jenna having a nervous breakdown, unable to spit out and sort of English was one of my cover my eye moments.  This girl has serious issues and I don't know how Ben was able to not laugh in her face. "I'm not a girl",  umm oops your on the wrong show then sweets.  Her pained expressions and completely frazzled looks reminds me of what most of us girls look like on a Sunday morning after a bender.  Good Riddance Jenna!!

So upward and onward to more awkward mind-blowing television.  I swear I feel smarter after every episode!!
